Having seen Fyodor Golan's Fashion in Motion at the V&A, this was one show that we were really looking forward to and it certainly was arresting! Inspired by the duo's recent trip to Cambodia and Burma, the collection had strong streetwear elements, heaps of pink and metallic in abundance, which meant that our eyes were on stalks throughout.
The show opened with a model sporting a dress made of smart phones screening films of Cambodia, so from the off, we knew that we were in for something a little bit different! It is fair to say that the collection provoked conversation amongst our party, proving to be the Marmite of the day.
But this was absolutely our favourite show space as, in probably the most exciting use of astro turf, the warehouse where it took place was decorated top to bottom in a bright pink shade of faux grass. It almost made us want to sign up to a five-a-side team. Almost.
