Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Like the protagonist of some sort of terrible Science Fiction film, my skin has recently been replaced by that of another being, to be more specific, a scaly alien has taken over entirely. Usually accustomed to having skin resembling a particularly horrific BP disaster, I have had to completely overhaul my skincare regime and now words like "gentle" and "moisturising", which were never part of my vocabulary, are at the top of my requirements list.
Having asked my dermatologist whether he could recommend a moisturiser, to which he replied, "just find one you like", I knew I was on my own. 3 weeks in, here are the products that are working:

From left to right:

Cylax Moisturiser - I only bought this because it has the Royal Crest on and The Queen is the ultimate role model. But it's actually a very nice nighttime moisturiser, SPF free, it is light and non- greasy but still effective. Bonus points for its smell reminding me of my Grandma.

E45 Moistuising Lotion - Perfume free and hypoallergenic, this lotion is keeping the lizard legs at bay.

Nelson's Graphites Cream - Top tip from Mama B, this homeopathic cream is nothing short of amazing.

Nivea Rich Moisturising Day Cream - Easily absorbed -- so sits well under makeup --and with an SPF of 15, this is the perfect bargainous day cream.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - This cult product was recommended to me by a makeup artist who advised using it as nighttime lip treatment, as the endless cups of tea will wash it away during the day.

Caudalie Anti-wrinkle Lip and Eye Cream - Free from parabens and other nasties, this cream is moisturising and smoothing. From technology honed on a vineyard, it 's the sort of product that Bacchus would approve of.

Dr Lipp Nipple Balm for Lips - More miracle than lip balm, it definitely gets Hero Product status.
